Mentorship with Clara Roberts-Oss

Clara has offered mentorship for over 15 years to many different styles of teachers, sharing her experience and insight into teaching. This has included creating sequences, developing more refined language, figuring out what their niche is, how to market oneself, and how to develop one’s presence online.

You can either book in when it is needed or commit to a 3, 6, or 9-month mentorship.

Refine your vinyasa, deepen your teaching, and reconnect to why you fell in love with this practice in the first place.

Why Mentorship?

Mentorship with Clara is ideal if you want to:

  • Clarify your vinyasa sequencing and theming so your classes feel cohesive and intentional.

  • Ask specific questions about teaching, training, or hosting events.

  • Receive feedback on your teaching style, language, and class structure.

  • Integrate philosophy, mantra, and energetics into a modern vinyasa context.

  • Navigate the realities of teaching yoga as a long-term path – creatively and professionally.

Who Is This Mentorship For?

  • Yoga teachers who want feedback and refinement from an experienced trainer.

  • Teachers-in-training who want extra support as they integrate their studies.

  • Longtime practitioners who want to deepen their understanding of vinyasa, sequencing, and philosophy beyond a drop-in class.

  • Anyone who feels called to sit with a teacher they respect and ask, “What’s next for me on this path?”

Clara

Clara has always experienced movement as a way to commune with the divine. With a foundation in dance, she was drawn to vinyasa yoga for its balance of structure and self-expression—form infused with freedom.

She began practicing at Jivamukti in 1999 and completed her certification at Sonic Yoga NY in 2003, teaching full-time soon after. In 2006, she moved to Vancouver, BC, bringing a distinctive, devotional approach to vinyasa and becoming known as a “teacher’s teacher” within the growing yoga community.

Clara completed her 300-hour training with Shiva Rea’s Samudra School in 2012 and has led retreats, workshops, and teacher trainings worldwide since 2009. She has presented at gatherings including the Whistler Yoga Conference, Wanderlust Whistler, Northwest Yoga Conference, Pacific Yoga Festival, and Chamonix Yoga Festival.

A longtime faculty member at Semperviva Yoga, Clara founded the Lila School of Vinyasa Yoga in 2013 and continues to lead 200- and 300-hour trainings internationally. In 2019, she launched Practice with Clara, expanding her global reach.

Motherhood in 2020 deepened her devotion to presence, resilience, and the sacredness of each breath. Today, Clara teaches weekly classes and leads advanced trainings and retreats worldwide.

  • I appreciate her playful yet precise cueing of creative and enriching sequences. They gave my body and mind more than I knew I needed, enabling me to ride the waves of life, and find a calm presence amongst the challenges. I’ve been delighted to find my way back to Clara's generous and joyous teachings on PWC and the wonderful space that she holds, whether live or recorded.

  • There's so much I can say about Practice with Clara. Clara is such a gifted, delicate and professional yoga teacher. Every practice is like a new trip to a part of myself that I have not explored yet or revisiting under a new angle. There is no routine. Every time there is something to discover. And the practices are sequenced in such a smart way that it wakes up the body exactly as it would naturally do, bringing to a culmination of the practice keeping the curiosity open: what's next. And yes, every time I feel revigorated and brought back to my best shape. In 11 years of practice I have not met another teacher, to whome I want to come back again and again. Thanks for being here so authentique and so true and so inspiring.

  • Clara's guidance is gentle, accurate and moves you towards your inner teacher, towards your inner voice and freedom without useless preaching or dogma to follow. Clara is absolutely unique and I am so glad I have the chance to walk this path with other people from all over the world who share a view and can widen my perspective.

  • I’ve been practicing with Clara since 2015 at OYFTP and through her online platform, and recently, I completed the 170-hour online immersion, part of the 300-hour YTT. The way Clara designs her classes and trainings are both intelligent and spacious, creating an arena to unfold, learn, contemplate, and dance within your experience. I really came away from the training with a deeper understanding of core concepts from throughout yoga’s history and philosophy, and how elements like breathwork, mantra, philosophy, asana, and meditation can be skillfully woven together to support transformative practice. As an RMT, the training also gave me layered understandings of pain, rehabilitation, breathwork, and nervous system regulation,  perspectives I now naturally weave into my treatments. I would highly recommend participating in any of Clara’s offerings!
